About the Presenter: Michelle Benford is a PAIE Pfaizulrogram Coordinator who works directly with Program Participants. In her role, she provides targeted job search and Canadian Corporate Culture and communication training as well as individual employment coaching and mentoring services. She also works with employers to match them with program participants to fill existing hiring needs - or develop work placement opportunities to help participants gain experience in the local environment sector. Michelle attended Fleming College school of Environmental and Natural Resource Sciences and is a trained Terrain and water Resources Technician and Certified Life Coach. She has been working with the PAIE Program since 2009.

Synopsis of the Topic: Led by the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) and with funding from the Government of Ontario, the PAIE Program works with Internationally Educated Engineers to help them gain the 12 months of Canadian experience required for Professional licensing with PEO by linking them with employers to fulfill hiring needs in the environment sector. First launched in 2006, the PAIE Program has been very successful year after year in helping Internationally Educated Engineers achieve employment in their field.

Applications for the 2018 PAIE Program are now being accepted until March 31st!
