The Professional Engineers Ontario – Scarborough Chapter would like to introduce the first PEAK (Practice Evaluation and Knowledge) technical workshop for its members. This is a pilot program initiated by the Scarborough Chapter to help promote PEAK while giving its members a structured general 3-hour technical workshop that can be applied to the major Engineering disciplines.

The topics covered in this workshop will be surrounding UAV -VLOS (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles – Visual Line of Sight) and how they can be implemented as an engineering tool in the Power (Electrical), Environmental, Civil, structural, Chemical, Computer and other interdisciplinary Engineering industries.

Since this is a structured technical workshop, there will be a series of 20 general engineering related multiple questions at the end of the workshop and the participants with over 60% marks (12 correct answers) will be issued a certificate of completion. The questions will be from the topics reviewed during the workshops plus any supplementary information attached on this website. Details of topics and sample multiple choice questions.
