Synopsis of the Topic: West Toronto Diamond (WTD) Interchange is one of the key grade separations under the Georgetown South Rail Program. The WTD provides rail to road and rail to rail grade separations on the Weston Subdivision. The existing at grade rail to rail crossing impacts service reliability. The completion of this project will remove these operational constraints at this location and provide a designated line for the Union-Pearson Express service. Further it improves the overall on-time performance and customer service, as well as eliminates noise from trains crossing the diamond. This presentation will provide some insights of this on-going program. Follow the link to know more about this Program
